Mads’ Graduation Party!

I graduated from midwifery school!

I am still busy studying to take board exam sometime between now and this party but I am also preparing for a celebration bc damn this was almost 10 years in the making!

I’m so excited to see all my friends and people I have not been able to spend time with in these last few years! Come hang with me!

There will probably be activities of some kind, coloring books, a craft, board games… Partners, friends, and kids of all ages are welcome! Dogs on leash welcome outside!

Food/Drink:

  • There will be some snacks! 

  • Feel free to byo food for yourself or to share. If you bring food to share please label ingredients

  • Unicorn has paninis and snacks for purchase beginning when they open to the public at 5pm Menu

  • Alcohol and NA Beverages available for purchase from the bar

Safer Air:

  • The bar has an outdoor area with picnic tables, I expect to spend most of my time outdoors

  • While Covid IS transmittable outdoors, masks outdoors are optional to balance accessability needs and have space for eating and drinking

  • Please wear a kn94/kf94/n95 mask when indoors (I’ll have extras on hand)

  • If the weather is bad and we are likely to be indoors, I will bring air filters for the space

Covid Testing:

  • Please take a total of 2 rapid tests - one the day before the party and one the day of. If you forget the day before you can do 2 the day of. 

  • I will have rapid Covid/Flu combo tests available at the party and can get them to you in advance! If you are doing your test once you arrive, please keep your mask on outdoors until the test is finished

  • If you have access to home molecular tests, 1 test the day of the party is sufficient


If you feel sick or have had known unmasked contact with anyone sick in the 5 days before the party PLEASE DO NOT COME. It will suck not to see you but it is important to me to keep myself and our community as safe as possible when we gather. 

If you get sick or test positive for Covid within 1 week after the party, please let Mads know so that we can let other guests know they may have been exposed

Venue/Accessability:

  • There is a small parking lot behind the venue, and additional parking on the street

  • There are 3 steps to get into the front door of the bar interior, there is ramp access through the back door of the venue. There are no steps to get to the outdoor space

  • The yard has wood picnic tables with attached benches. Indoor chairs can be brought outside if other supportive seating is needed

  • The ground outside is grass/dirt

  • The bathrooms are all-gender. Bathrooms are not ADA compliant and do not fit a wheelchair
